Fly Wheel Podcast Interview

the flywheelI had the privilege of speaking with Victor Jimenez last month on his new podcast The Flywheel. We discussed a range of topics:

– working from home with monsters, I mean twin boys, running around

– managing creative work flow

– career goals (Hint – The next one is in Rio!)

I’ve been listening to podcasts daily for almost a year now. Since I rarely sit at a desk and do most of my work from my phone it’s been a struggle to keep up on what’s going on in the world. Podcasts are ideal for me because I pop in my headphones while I’m walking the twins, doing the dishes or sketching new activewear designs. I’ve been toying with the idea of starting my own podcast, interviewing Mompreneurs. I want to ask them what steps they took in preparing for babies while running a business. I felt insanely overwhelmed when the twins arrived by trying to take care of them and keep the business afloat. It’s tough! Your business is your baby until you have your own babies. But some women do it and do it well. Anyways, thank you Victor for allowing me to share my story with you and your listeners.

More about The Flywheel podcast:

This podcast covers a range of topics, focusing on the theme that creative individuals are the ones who drive change in this world. It’s the small businesses, the artists, the risk takers; these are the ones in the driver’s seat.

We are the outliers, that believe that every person can create their own culture. Business and the world economy is not just about money, it’s much more than that. It’s about helping people, and learning to be better human beings in our very short time on this earth.
