Hemp Shake

Quick and healthy lunch or a run recovery shake.  Drink it as a meal or snack.   I added a side of hummus and celery today after an 6mi around the Rose Bowl

– optimal balance of Omega 3 & Omega 6 essential fatty acids
insanely rich in fiber (so be careful!  start with 15g powder and work your way up.) 
– gets absorbed faster than any other protein 
– helps protect against chronic diseases
– gluten, dairy, lactose free! 

Hemp Shake
1/2 banana
4 strawberries
1/2 orange
3 stalks kale, ribs removed
15g hemp protein powder
1/2c soy, rice or almond milk
handful of ice

*add a pitted date if it’s not sweet enough 🙂
