National Yoga Month

How are you going to celebrate National Yoga Month?  I’ve made a commitment to celebrate National Yoga Month by practicing at a new studio in San Diego once a week.  I used to practice everyday, sometimes even twice a day when I was living in Santa Monica.  My apartment was walking distance to inspiring yet tough yoga instructors and studios.  But since I arrived in La Jolla I’ve stuck to Pilates, running, hiking and swimming.  Running my own business(es) and working from home is stressful at times and I miss the effect yoga has on me.  After the first 20 minutes of class I start to calm down and my mind starts to wander allowing creativity and new ideas to surface.  Plus, I realize I’ve been overreacting to whatever production, warehouse, or start up phase problem I have been fussing about all week.  Any recommendations for yoga studios in San Diego?  I’ve heard good things about Indie Yoga in Ocean Beach and I am dying to try Haute Yoga even though its a bit of a trek up to North County.  Plus studios ALL over are offering a free week of yoga if you sign up on the National Yoga month website.  Click here to get a free week!

My favorites if you live in Los Angeles – Bryan Kest, Michelle Goldstein, Vytas, Rudy Mettia, Govindas, Yoga Hop, Power Yoga (donation based!).

Curious what I’m wearing in the above pictures while practicing in Belize?
