I worked closely with the founder, Patti, (who’s also a twin mom!) on two collections. I was tasked with developing the color palette, line plan, print selection, fabric sourcing, and silhouette design of the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 collections. GG Blue started dividing up each season into 3-5 drops and it was imperative to design styles that could cross between different collections and prints. Designing for the young female golfer to the more mature golfer provided a unique challenge in adjusting the fit and fabrics to suit both categories.
Scope: Concept Designer, Sourcing
- Accurately predict market direction and trends.
- Develop CADS and create a line plan for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.
- Select prints, recolor, and resize for production.
- Source fabrics and manufacturers overseas.
