Highlights!
Working with the uber-talented Emmy Bunn as her Concept Design assistant. The way Ralph Lauren builds out their concepts is very unique. Each collection is given a room and they transform the room into another time period filled with imagery, potential ad campaigns, mock-up samples, samples pulled from the archives, and gorgeous sketches. We, the designers sketch out the shape of the garments but then the art department brings them to life with bodies and movement.
Scope: Assistant Concept Designer
In 2006 Marissa assisted the Concept Designer for RL Women’s Golf and designed the referee uniforms and promo apparel for the 2007 US Open.
- Researched and developed knitwear for the 2006 Women’s US Open.
- Liaison between concept designer and in-house graphic designers.
- Hand sketch out the designs for Women’s Knits and Polos.
